Through The Fair Part 1"

Representing CONTROL on an important mission,Dulles International Airport,are Agents
86,99,13,and 73.
Their mission? To secure the apprehension of a dangerous KAOS agent that goes by the name
of the Scarecrow.
There are several agents for CONTROL all over the airport as they
await the return of two fellow agents,agents 29 and 55,back from Paris
on a flight which is carrying them and their prisoner the Scarecrow,who
they caught at a Paris airport ten hours ago.
Agents 86 and 99 are waiting for the flight that has the two CONTROL
agents along with the Scarecrow to land and its' passengers to unboard.
Someone has their beeper going off.86 and 99 are among a crowd of
people.
Agent 99: Rick.is that your beeper shoe going off?
Agent 86:Could be.Let me check.
Agent 86 pulls off his left shoe.
99:I thought your beeper shoe phone was on your right foot.
86:Oh,yeah let me check..Nope it isn't beeping.How about your shoe phone 99?
99:It could be mine.Let me check.
86:99 I thought your beeper phone shoe was on your right side?
99:No Rick.Beeper shoe phones for women agents are on the left
foot,beeper shoe phone for men are on the right foot.
86:Oh,that's right.Hey I still here that beeping sound though
99:It might be on your CONTROL gas card phone Rick.
86:Oh yeah that maybe it.It is it.99 how do I answer this thing again?
99:You take out the gas card activator panel,it will tell you to slide
the card through the panel then it will tell you to wait a minute.When
it says "ready for fueling "you talk through it.
86:Oh right.Okay here I go.Here it's done,hello Chief.
The Chief:Hello 86,you and 99 at the airport?
86:That's right Chief.We are waiting for agents 29 and 55 to bring him
out and when they do we will be there to help ascort him to CONTROL
Headquarters.
Chief:Now 86 do you remember what the code names were for agents 29 and
55 so when you greet them they will know who you are?
86:Yes Chief:They were registered under the names of Mr. and Mrs.
Daniel Synder.To top that off the name the Scarecrow was using was
I.M.A.Devil.
Chief:That's right 86 good work in finding that out.
86:Gee Chief that is quite a name for a man on the run to use,he could
only stick out like a sore thumb like that.
Chief:The Scarecrow is a dangerous and reckless KAOS agent 86,it
doesn't surprise me.Now what I want you to do is make sure the Scarecrow is
safely in our custody,I'm counting on you and 99 both on this.
86:No need to worry Chief the Scarecrow will be brought to justice.
Chief:Good.I'll talk to you later on another mission I need you and 99
to be on after this one once you get back to headquarters.
86:Right Chief.Over and out.Well 99 it won't be long now.
99:Rick wait!
86:What?
99:The passengers on the flight 29 and 55 were on,they have gotten
off.But I don't see either 29 or 55.
86:I know what you mean 99.And what are those two strechers that are
being wheeled out with the rest of the passengers?
99:Let's go and see Rick.
Agents 86 and 99 ask a stewardess on the flight the CONTROL agents were
on what happened to them.
86:Miss,we are government agents,we are looking for a Mr. and Mrs.
Daniel Synder on this flight do you know where they are?
Stewardess:Mr.and Mrs.Daniel Synder,hmmmm?Oh yes,they both were
suffering from food poisoning and we had to stop over in London and get
them to a hospital immeadiately.I do believe they will be all right in
a week or so.
86:Food poisoning?In a hospital for a week in London?
99:We are also looking for a man that went by the name of I.M.A.Devil
do you know anything about him?
Stewardess:I believe he got off this flight and took a flight from
London to Baltimore that is the last we know off him.He was a tall dark
fellow,kind of creepy if you ask me.
99:And who are they two people that came off the plane on strechers?
Stewardess:Oh some belly dancer on the flight went nuts and decided to
dance herself crazy.She took it off,she took everything she had off,it
was quite a sight.Except for this old couple who both suffered minor
heart attacks from the display put on by the belly dancer.
99:Well Rick you know what this means?
86:Yes 99.I hope to find the person on this flight who had a video
camera with them so I could have seen the belly dancer's dance .I know
someone has it on tape,I just know it.

Back at CONTROL Headquarters Agent 86 goes through the details of the
failed mission with The Chief.
86:That is the way it ended up Chief.It looks like the Scarecrow is on
the loose again.
Chief:Maybe,maybe not Rick.
86:What do you mean Chief?
Chief:We may have something that may help us find or at least locate
the Scarecrow.
99:And here it is Chief.
Chief:Good 99,let me see the report.
86:What's in the report Chief?Have we located the Scarecrow?
Chief:It says here the Scarecrow was last seen in the area around the
Maryland State Fair a few short hours ago.It means that he maybe
cornered in a place that we can finally get to him.
86:That's great Chief,99 and I will head for Baltimore right away.
Chief:Not so quickly Rick.Remember that special assignment that I
wanted you and 99 to be a part of?
86;You spoke to me about it on the phone what is it Chief?
Chief:It concerns Senator Payne of the Senate National Security
Commitee.He learned about the loss of the Scarecrow and said that
funding for CONTROL could be a lot less than needed in the new fiscal
year unless the organization can turn things around.Senator Payne says
he can twist a few arms and make sure CONTROL gets the funding it
needs,he just wants a personal favor to be done for him.
99:I can almost say what will happen next.Now I understand why I was
included in this "mission".It is enough to make me puke.
86:Well I'll hold off on that option until I find out what he
wants.What does he want us to do Chief?
Chief:The Senator is leaving for Italy tomorrow and he wants to have
two CONTROL agents to be a friend his young daughter for a couple of days.
86:Well that's not so bad Chief.It isn't that bad is it 99?
99:I don't know.How old is the senator's daughter?
Chief:She is....oh wait a minute here they are now.
Senator Payne and his 12 year old daughter Melissa A.Payne show up at
the Chief office.Introductions go all around to everyone in the room.
Chief:Senator Payne,it is pleasure to have you with again along with
your lovely daughter.
Senator Payne:Thank you so much Chief.I appreciate the welcome as does
Melissa right darling?
Melissa:Yeah,if you say so.
Senator Payne:Well Chief I promise that I will be able to pull some
strings provided CONTROL can straighten things out and right its' ship
if you catch my drift?
Chief:Of course sir.
Payne:Well it is good that you have two bright young agents to
entertain Melissa while I'm gone.I know she will love the both of them.
Melissa A Payne holds a paper that Rick can see from across the room
saying I HATE YOU!
Agent 86 puts up a paper of his own for Melissa to see and it says,WHY
CAN'T WE BE FRIENDS?
Melissa A.Payne counters with a paper sign message of her own saying
BECAUSE I STILL HATE YOU!
Agent 86 is still persistant and writes another message that he has
Melissa see that says,WELL NO MATTER WHAT I LIKE YOU!
Melissa A.Payne gets the message and replies in kind F%#* OFF!
The Senator sees his daughter and agent 86 communicating together and
likes it.
Senator Payne:I see one of your agent is already friends with Melissa
right now Chief,seems I went to the right place to show my daughter how
our fine government works.
Chief:I couldn't be more than pleased Senator.
Payne:Well Chief I shall be leaving you for now I'll be back in a three
days.Take good care of Melissa and I'll make sure CONTROL will be taken
care of properly in the Senate.
Chief:Thank you Senator Payne,enjoy your trip.
Senator Payne:Thank you Chief.Take good care of my daughter friends.Bye
bye darling.
Melissa:Bye bye Daddy.Break a leg Daddy.
Chief:86,why don't you and 99 show Melissa around some of CONTROL
Headquarters,I think that would be a good start to things.
86,99,and Melissa A.Payne,take an elevator and start their new
friendship together ableit cautiously.
There is grim silence in the elevator heading for the ground floor.
Melissa:Why is it that you guys have numbers instead of using your
names,you guys are stupid or something?
86:We must keep our real identities secret.That is why they call us
secret agents.
Melissa:What kind of sneaky stuff do you creeps do anyway?Do have
toliet cams of people your spying on?
99:86,I can't remember when I have heard such a girl of this age be so
vulgar.
Melissa:Oh heck,you can even remember your own name I'll bet ,you're
just as much a slut as my Mother I'm sure of it.
99:Now I wish that my first idea about this assignment concerning the
Senator had been done instead,this is putrid.
86:What was that idea about 99?
Melissa:Yeah 99,what was that idea that you had about an assignment
with my father all about?
99:Never mind.Can we change the subject?
86:Sure, why not?Hey Melissa what is it that you like and dislike?
Melissa:What do you care?
86:Well it would help us out in making this more enoyable for
you.Really.
Melissa:You know what I dislike a lot?Spies.Goverment employees.They
all stink.I say get rid of the CIA,FBI,IRS,FDA,and CONTROL so we can have
some real personal freedom back in this country instead of snoops
always prying into people's private lives,that is so much crap.
99:My what wisdom dispensed from such a young callow youth as we have
here 86.I am sure her Father is very proud of her.
Melissa:My Father is a two-timing two-faced double-dealing suck up and
when I become 18 I'm going to throw the big birthday cake they will
have for me that year and throw it into his face just to show him how much I
have loved him over the years.
86:Well that is all and good Melissa now is there anything that you do
like?
99After the past few minutes 86,do you think she like anything other
than herself?
86:Don't tell me 99 that are young friend here doesn't like anything
other than herself?
99:She hates everything but herself Rick.
86:I asked you not to tell me that.
Melissa:Get a clue from this stuckup bimbo Mister,I don't like either
of you and when I'm free I won't remember that either of you ever existed.
Suddenly both Agent 13 and 73 appear on the scene in the lobby with
agents 86,99,and their reluctant guest of honor.
Agent13:86,99,I have got great news.The Scarecrow has been found at the
Maryland State Fair.
86:That's great 13.Where is he exactly.
13:Our sources say he is hiding out working as one of the stage acts at
the Fairgrounds.
86:Great,but as who?
73:Well that is the tough part 86.The Chief wants us to go undercover
and possibly work with him.You see we must work undercover in a stage
production of The Three Little Pigs.
86:The Three Little Pigs?
99:You must be kidding?
Melissa:I don't think she is kidding.It is a popular stageshow for
kids,where the three little pigs have these houses that they try to
build to protect from the Big Bad Wolf,the guy who says I'll huff and
I'll puff and I'll blow your house down sort of schtick.It is playing
at the State Fair right now.As a matter of fact,I think I'll go there
right now myself.If you freaky agents think you want to follow me come and
get me.
99:No you don't.
Melissa:Hey what is this?
99:I am going to put you under house arrest by handicuffing you to my
wrist until we can sort all this out.
Melissa:You can't do this to me.I will tell my father all about this
and when I do no more funding for CONTROL and you guys will get the
blaaa.........
86:For once I think it is good we don't listen to her right now.Thank
you for putting that sock in her mouth 73.
73:Don't mention it.What are you and 99 doing babysitting this girl ?
13:And what about this and no more funding for CONTROL?Who is her
Father?
99:What is more important is where is the Scarecrow and how do we find
him at the Maryland State Fair?
86:And what about all this and The Three Little Pigs?Am I going to be
one of them on stage?

CONTROL agents 86,99,73,and 13 all are present in the officof The Chief
of CONTROL.
The Chief:Our oppertatives in Baltimore have spotted the Scarecrow
working at the Maryland State Fair.He is presumablely working in and
around an area near a children's stageshow at the fair called The Three
Little Pigs.We have made arraignments that three of you agents will
workundercover as The Three Little Pigs on stage.86,I am choosing you and
73 and 13 to be The Three Little Pigs on stage,until we have apprehended
the Scarecrow.
Agent86:Chief,you mean get in costume and act out as a pig on stage?I
haven't done any acting work since second grade.
Chief:It is only for a short time 86 until we have captured the
Scarecrow and then and until then will you be doing this.
Agent 13:You mean we must wear some kind of kooky costumes along the
line of the Banana Splits on stage in front of a bunch of kids with
their parents with a dangerous KAOS agent on the loose?
Chief:Yes 13,that's right.And I'm sure you can handle this without any
problems.
Agent 73:But we must rehearse the lines of the stage show or we will
flop totally.
Chief:The show's lines as you say 73 are voiced over on the Fair's
sound stage system.You don't have to say a thing,just lip-synch your lines
while the Fair's stage system does the rest.You shall be like modern
day rock and pop stars whom I'm sure do not sing their songs to their
audiences all the time.The sound system shall make everything
foolproof.
Agent 99:How did you get the original performers of the show to have
three of our agents take their place Chief?
Chief:We made arraignments with the show's producers and the Fair's
management that this was a case involving national security and they
agreed to let the real performers have the time off.
86:What about the part of the Wolf Chief?Who will play that part?
Chief:The regular performer ,the show's producer,shall continue to play
that role Rick,thus help you and 13 and 73 with this part of the case.
86:There isn't anything erotic or violent in this play is there
Chief?You know that we at CONTROL stand for goodness and niceness.
Chief:I assure you Rick,nothing out of the ordinary whille doing this
play.It is The Three Little Pigs and nothing else.By the way where is
Senator Payne's daughter,Melissa?
13:Well.........
Chief:Well what 13?
73:Chief we...........
Chief:did what 73,did what?
86:It goes like this Chief.......
Chief:It goes like what 86?It goes like what?What happened to that
sweet
wonderful girl,will someone please tell me what has happened to Senator
Payne's daughter?
86:Chief we put her in the autopsy room at CONTROL.
Chief:The Autopsy Room?!? Rick how could you?Don't tell me we have the
daughter of a US Senator in a room filled with deceased people.
86:Okay so I won't tell you.
Chief:You already told me Rick.
86:You asked me not to tell you that Chief,even if it was a bit too
late.
Chief:Rick how could you?The Senator who could help CONTROL out with
apporiatiation money from Congress will have learned that has daughter
has been abused and mistreated by agents from that same organization he
has promised to help.Is this how we are going to repay Senator Payne by
showing him how we have neglected and embrassed his daughter?
99:Chief it's no big deal.We showed the girl a dead body from one of
the room's drawers and she fainted.
Chief:And you believe that to be funny 99?
99:No.I just thought if she didn't have a heart she would have wanted
to see more.
Chief:What do you mean?
99:I mean Chief this is a bitter spoiled pushy little girl who always
wants her way and doesn't care who she insults in order to get her way.
Chief:You are overreacting 99.She is just a young girl who is a little
spolied being the daughter of an US Senator.
73:99 isn't exaggerating Chief.This girl is more than rough around the
edges,she's toxic,she's mean,I understand why that Senator promised to
help out CONTROL the way he has,this girl will push you to the limit.
13:She is a bad apple Chief and that's all there is to it.If Senator
Payne wanted two counterintelligence agents to hold this girl's hand
for three days,then I can understand it because obviously no one else will
do it.
99:Including her own parents.You saw how happy the Senator was in
getting rid of his disposal problem Chief ,he virtually ran out the
door happy to leave her with us.
Chief:Maybe I was wrong.You feel the same way about her 86?
86:Well Chief I''m willing to give the kid another chance for the sake
of CONTROL and that money it will receive from Congress.
Chief:Good.Now you and agents 13 and 73 shall play The Three Little
Pigs at the Maryland State Fair and 99 shall escort young Melissa A.Payne
around the Fair itself.Now where in the autopsy room is Melissa in
Rick?
86:Well Chief when she fainted we figured on putting Melissa in a nice
place where she could rest for awhile.
Chief:Which is?The waiting room.The first aid room.The Agents' lounge
where?
86:We put her in one of the drawers where they put the stiffs in at the
autopsy room.
Chief:RICK!
86:I figured it would be a nice safe place to keep her.Plus she
probably is still sound asleep right now.
Rick could not be more than wrong as we can imagine hearing a screaming
Melissa waking up and finding herself where she is just now.

At the Maryland State Fair in Baltimore,we now witness and large
crowd of children and their parents as they witness the 12:30 PM
production of The Three Little Pigs.
The Three Little Pigs trot themselves out to the cheers of the crowd
as they begin their tale of building a home that shall protect them
from The Big Bad Wolf!
"We are The Three Little Pigs and this is our little tale"(The
three agents wag their rears to show the crowd their little tail to a
laughing crowd's delight)
"We have travelled far and wide to find a home and this we will not
fail."
"We have found a place and we shall make it made of hay."
"This we know shall keep the Big Bad Wolf out and help save the day."
"Hark there is a knock on the door."
"I wonder who it is?"
"Who is it?"
"It is I The Big Bad Wolf and you must let me in now."
'No Mr.Wolf,you are not permitted into our house made of hay."
"If in that case I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house
down."
The Big Bad Wold naturally blows the house of hay down leaving The
Three Liitle Pigs helpless and homeless once again.
In the audience looking on is agent 99 with her new "friend " Melissa
A.Payne.
Melissa:Unless you want to see the ending of this crap methinks we
should move along,I want to go to the Enimem wannabe contest on the
other side of the Fair.
99:I would think the music of someone like that would be a little too
risque for someone your age.Maybe seeing this little stageplay would be
more to your liking.
Melissa:As I told you before agent Scully I know what I like and don't
like and no one can predetermine what any of that is including you.
99:This won't be forever I want to get rid of you as fast as anyone.You
are a pain in more ways than one
Melissa:Well I see you have got something right for a change.Payne is
the name and don't you ever forget it.
99:With your sweet charm and loveable personality,it is hard to believe
anyone could dislike you.
Melissa:Don't be so caustic you creepy spy.I remember what you and your
friends did to me today.When I tell my Dad what you did CONTROL will
have its' funds slashed and you will end up being some barffaced
creep's secretary.You don't fool me with your long legs and very very
very short red dress Ms 1999 or whatever they call you ,I know that
typewriting,filing,and being a gofer is the best talents you have.And
when CONTROL gets dismantled your future will be sitting on top of a
copy machine.
99:That did it.Come with me.
Melissa:Hey ,what's with the handcuffs again? What are you doing with
me,you creppy sleezy slut let go of me!
99:Not until I put you in a very safe place for the sake of society.
99 and Melissa A.Payne up end in the back of The Three Little Pigs
stage and 99 is ready to dump Melissa into a garbage can.Until fate
intervines.
Melissa:When your boss and my Father hear about this you won't have a
chance in this town you.....
99:Shhhhhh......wait a minute.
99 sees a man on the ground.He goes over to him and sees he is
unconscious but still alive.
Melissa sees the same thing too.
Melissa:Hey,that man,what happened to him?
99:I don't know.I am going to call CONTROL Headquarters.
99 and Melissa return to the area where the man is but finds something
wrong.
99:He's gone.The man who was just here is gone.
Melissa:I saw the same man too.He looked like he was dead.Was he
dead?And what happened to him?
99:No. I don't understand what happened to him.He was lying down here
right here.
Before 99 can say another word she is grabbed from behind by someone
who is wearing the costume of the Big Bad Wolf.He overpowers 99 smothering
her in her face with a towel of chroloform.The Big Bad Wolf standing
over the stunned 99 now turns his attention to Melissa A.Payne.
Melissa:Hey!Hey what did you do to her?Is she like dead?What,did you do
to her what you did to that guy who was on the ground a minute ago?
HUH?ANSWER ME?
Scarecrow:The Scarecrow answer to no one.But everyone must answer to
the Scarecrow.That is a CONTROL agent right?
Melissa:Yeah,she's one of them.
Scarecrow:Are you one of them?
Melissa:No!No way! Hey like listen to me.Why can't we be friends
huh?You know I have a Father who has friends in high places he could get you
anything you want honest.
Scarecrow:I had friends once but I killed them all when I didn't need
them anymore.
MelissaA Payne gasped in horror.
Scarecrow:If you have a Father with lots of friends with influence then
maybe you shall be of good use to me.
Melissa:How..how's tha that?
Scarecrow:You shall press this button of this device I give you right
now. In four minutes all the people in front of that soundstage and on it will perish as a
bomb is set to go off in four minutes.That is once you press that
button four minutes setting it off.
Melissa:What are you going to do with her?
Scarecrow:I am going to the watertower several yards behind everyone
and isolated away from the Fair itself.I will carry this girl to the
watertower and then clib up the tower and open the half full watertank
and drop her into it.From there she shall drown in nice cool cold
water.Very good eh?
Melissa:I have never heard of anything so cruel so vulgar.
Scarecrow:If you don't do what I tell you as I give this bomb mechanism
to you then I shall shoot her and drop you into the water instead.You
see I am giving you a chance to save yourself for I shall need you
later daughter of Father with many friends in high places.Do not let me
down.I believe those idiots playing the pigs are more CONTROL agents.Would
they not be amazed to know that KAOS is being represented here as The Big
Bad Wolf!
Melissa A Payne watches with horror as The Scarecrow lifts 99 up and
throws her over his shoulder and uses a over the shoulder carry to take
her to the Watertower far away from the State Fair crowd.
As Melissa ponders what to do,the Three Little Pigs alias agents
86,73,and 13 wait for the next act they must do with the Big Bad Wolf.
13:I can't wait until this is finished it's 87 degrees outside today
and at least 107 inside these costumes.
73:I with you 13. I would do anything in counterintelligence but
this.Besides I want to use the bathroom and this costume is beginning
to itch.
86:I agree with both of you here.This is really a pain in the neck.But
then again we don't have to deal with the real Payne.Melissa.
73:Got that right.She is 99's problem and I take that back about doing
anything in the spy business,not babysitting Melissa A.Payne.
13:I feel bad 99 has her for a problem right about now.
99 has a bigger problem for the moment as the Scarecrow unnoticed
continues to carry her to the watertower far away from the general
public's eye.
86:Hey wait a minute what is she doing here?
Agent 86 sees young Melissa A.Payne run to him.She explains the
situation to Agent 86 and tells him about 99 and her plight and shows
him the bomb device the Scarecrow gave her.
Agent 86 instantly tells everyone in the crowd to excuate as a bomb is
in the area.Everyone quickly leaves the soundstage area.The three
agents still in their Three Little Pigs costumes get in a car and drive to the
Watertower.
There they find The Scarecrow carrying 99 up the 200 foot ladder to the
top of the Watertower.
73:There they are.Look 86 The Scarecrow has 99 and almost to the top of
the tower.
86:I'm going after them.
It takes a few minutes but Rick reaches the top of the Watertower where
the Scarecrow is waiting for him.The Scarecrow starts to shoot at Rick
but Rick shoots back.
After a few minutes of gun fire on top of the Watertower,Rick runs out
of ammunition,the Scarecrow hasn't though and aims at agent 86.
Scarecrow:Well CONTROL agent I have two bullets left one for you and
one for her.I think I shall take you out first then continue my climb
dropping the girl in the water tank.You were a good opponent for me
maybe but then again no one ever defeats me.
86:Scarecrow you're under arrest once you come down 1000 FBI agents
shall arrest you on the spot.
Scarecrow:Nice try CONTROL agent but I don't think they'll be here.
86:Would' you believe 100 of Baltimore finest will be here in three
minutes.
Scarecrow:NO!
86:How about the cast of the View will be here in a few minutes to
interview you?
Scarecrow:Too bad you don't have anymore bullets,if you did it would
make for a nice duel between us for the girl's life.
86:Yes that's true if I only had one more bullet.......
BANG!
The Scarecrow is hit by the last bullet Rick actually had left in his
gun,and falls straight down to the ground.
86.........Sorry Scarecrow.I didn't know I did have one more bullet
left.Have a safe trip down.

Back at CONTROL Headquarters,Senator Payne arrives at the Chief's
Office.
Chief:I hope you enjoyed your trip to Italy Senator Payne.
Senator Payne:I surely did Chief.And I want to tell you that the money
needed for the budget of CONTROL shall be forthcoming,I assure you.
Chief:Many thanks Senator Payne from everyone at CONTROL.
Senator Payne:And now where is my wonderful daughter?Where is sweet
Melissa?
86:Right here Senator.
Senator Payne:There you are and a pretty as ever.
Melissa:Daddy I want to say thank you to the two CONTROL agents who
