waist. Glancing to him, Brooke becomes confused and she cannot give a meaning to his look.
"What do you want to talk about Ridge?" she asks, "is there a prob..."
No, no,no." He cuts her words, "I haven't come here to talk about business,
Logan. It is something special." Brooke cannot say
anything, Is there something special between them about which they can talk? Ridge
continues, "It is too late, and you are still working, you work very hard
novadays."."You are not supposed to worry about me Ridge." says Brooke
coldly. Ridge comes her side, puts his hands on her shoulders, very gently and softly says
"You are always on my mind, you know that Brooke, and you always will be, I always
worry about you,you have been a part of me for years as nobody could ever have been. You
and me, my dear, we know each other more than anyone else, don't we?" There occur tears
on Brooke's eyes . She thinks that she has loved Ridge even before they met, and she still
loves him but everything has gone like the wind . It is impossible for her to love another
man with such a deep deep love. She whispers "Yes, yes we always been such close and
we have shared lots of beatiful days, but.." turns back to him and walks to the table
"but is that why you are here? To talk about old days?" Again Ridge comes her
side. "Yes, Logan. Old days. I have been thinking of our past for last days and
nigths, and I really want to talk to you." "Ridge, you erased our past, and
burnt the bridges behind you,I don't understand what you want to talk about now." Ridge smiles and
slowly touches her hair, "Brooke, how many days have passed since I saw you first
time?" She sighs for the dreams she had in her youth, Ridge feels so sorry for her
sadness. "More than ten years Ridge."Ridge nods "I have given you a lot of
pain for more than ten years, Logan." Hearing his words, Brooke fastly turns back to
him and goes away to the other side of her office. "Ridge , why are you talking about
that? I don't want to hear about the past." Then she looks her former
husband."Please Ridge! Don't remind me of the days which I try to forget, which I
need to forget deadly, please." Ridge crosses the room with a few steps of his long
legs. "Logan, I don't wish to hurt you by recalling unhappy days, believe in
me." Brooke cannot
stand more, a tear flows her cheek, "These were not unhappy days Ridge, each day I
was with you was one of the happiest days of my life, and for that reason I need to forget
about them. I need the forget about the hope of happiness which I can never gain back, do
you understand?" She cannot keep on talking while Ridge's heart is scorched with
repentance."Brooke ,I wanna talk to you for exactly that reason, because I absolutely
understand you , now, please, would you mind listening to me? I beg you Logan,
please." Brooke wipes away her tears and thinks for a few seconds, then she takes a
deep breath and says "Alright Ridge, I am going to listen to you, you always give ear
to me when I come to you with my problems, now it is your turn".She looks at him
carefully then softly continues."Tell me, what is going on here?" Ridge becomes
so excited. At last, he may open his heart to Brooke, oh, at last he can have a chance for
amending the harms, damages, and losses she has endured for years just because of him. He
holds her hands and Brooke is very much affected by this contact. Eventually, Ridge starts
his confession. "I must say
that first, Brooke, I loved you when I first saw in that uniform catering the party, it
was a real love at first sight. "Oh, was it ?" says Brooke with annoyance.
"Yeah it was love Logan but at that time I was a little boy who don't know the
meaning of love and when I had this feeling for you , it was a very strange for me and,
and I..." He stops for a little while. "Yes?" says an excited Brooke, Ridge
cannot talk for a few seconds, they stared at each other, and finally he confesses "I
was so scared Logan" Silence in the
office,.... Brooke can only say "What??!!!" "I was scared Brooke, I was
scared of my strange feelings , and I was scared of the strength of my own feelings to you
do you understand?" Ridge , so emotional and thrilled, shakes her shoulders,
"Brooke please tell me you understand." Crystal tears appear on her beautiful

me so much that I always escaped from it and from you" Now, Ridge is about to cry and
so he cannot go on. Brooke starts crying in disbelief "I can't understand Ridge. What
are you telling me? And why, why?" Ridge holds her hands again, there are tears in
his eyes. "I was afraid of power my love to you, I knew I would became a slave with
such a love Brooke because you are a passionate, strong, emotional woman, you are so
amazing and incredible and I am only a poor slave under your feet with my love, I knew I
would be addicted to you Brooke and this scared me so much that I always escaped. I
escaped from my own love. First I run to Caroline but she knew that you are in my blood
and for this reason she wanted us to be together. But me, oh I was a fool coward and again
run and it was Taylor this time."Oh, yeah, Taylor" says Brooke in pain. "Taylor
understands me Logan. She can read my heart and she saw you in my heart.She knows I always

too much, I left you when you lost our baby, I left you each time you needed me. I
couldn't accept that how much I was devoted to you, and now I beg you to forgive me , but
you have a generous and exalted heart, you can do this Logan, please say 'I do forgive
you'.Then he becomes incapable to say even one more word and his tears freely
flows.Eventually he hears Brooke calling him "Ridge" "Yes my love?"
"You wanted me to say something I can't" Young man becomes scattered "Can't
you say you do forgive me?" "No Ridge, I can't because.." They stare each
other's eyes, and both remember long years they spent together and happiness they always
lose, afterwords, Brooke smiles "Because I do love you Ridge, you know it well"
She makes him stand up and holds his hands."You are the one I want, every night in my
dreams I felt you, I saw you and hoped for you to recognize your true feelings. I have
always said we belong each other Ridge ,you unerstand it now, but since I saw you first, I
know we are destined to each other, and at last you see this, at last" Brooke smiles
and hugs Ridge. "Thank God, you eventually see your what is in your hert" Ridge
is feeling like he is dreaming and adores Brooke's generosity again one more time.
"Yes I see! I was spending my days hopelessly with a sense of lack, it was you
Brooke, love of my life, I admire you, you make my each day worthy to live and I wish you
allow me to spend the rest of my life by making your each day better than the
previous" Now Brooke has
the most beautiful and happiest smile of the world on her face. Her dreams come true, at
last, he feels Ridge's love surrounds her truly, sincerely. "What do you mean"
she asks.Ridge takes her little head into his hands "I love you. Always have ! Wanna
marry you,and live together forever." "Oh Ridge !" "Marry me Logan.
Not for the family, not for the children, just for ourselves, for living our
destiny." "Ridge, my destiny is to get married with you, but again and again.And
